One of the highlights of Titi's drawn patches collection, was this London hotdog piece. She experimented in real life, using a mustard bottle to write the London abbreviation onto a hotdog, in order to gain an understanding of how the mustard would sit along with the lighting. This piece was then used on a limited edition t-shirt, sold online and at the venue. It was this product that I was tasked to create the packaging for.
The goal was to create a packaging design that reflected the spirit of the collaboration and the unique artistry of the T-shirt itself. Through careful consideration of materials, colours, and positioning of Titi's patchwork art, I aimed to craft a design that would elevate the unboxing experience, making it as memorable and distinctive as the T-shirt inside.
The final outcome was hotdog box which when opened, displayed the T-shirt in a way in which the hotdog looked like it sat within the box. The inside also features a collage of Titi's incredible travel patch style artwork.
This was an amazing opportunity to work with an emerging artist, especially one as talented as Titi Finlay, and also work on my first packaging project.
