One of my main roles within this project was to design and create all artwork for an in-store pre-launch event at the BSTN Brixton store in London, Jermaine's home city. I was tasked with designing and creating the storefront, a design for an arcade game within the event, and also leaflets for the guests. All of this came together to deliver an amazing pre-launch event, with a panel talk held by sporting and cultural figures, as well as a live painting session by the artist himself. It was truly a special night and amazing to be involved in many aspects of the project.
For this project, I was also tasked with designing the packaging for the product at the event. Working alongside Jermaine and his Hard In The Paint concept, we branded poster tubes, a medium that is usually used to contain art itself. This was a simple yet effective piece of packaging that really suited the project direction.
Like many of my projects, I was also involved in creating the landing page, a place where the story behind the collaboration could be told. I chose a very clean style, with lots of white space around the image to give an art gallery type feel. Click the button below to see the live page.
It was a real privilege to work on this project, and took me out of my comfort zone. I ventured into the realms of storefront design, having the event and guests at the front of my mind. I was also fortunate enough to attend the event, and the final 2024 NFL London game, a truly incredible experience.
